Dzheppar, French ambassador discuss priorities in protecting sovereignty of Ukraine

First Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Emine Dzheppar and French Ambassador to Ukraine Etienne de Poncins discussed the priorities of cooperation in protecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine and de-occupation of Crimea.

The Foreign Ministry's press service reported this following a meeting between Emine Dzheppar and Etienne de Poncins on Tuesday.

“During the meeting, the parties discussed the priorities of cooperation in protecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders, issues of strengthening international efforts to de-occupy Crimea, as well as human rights violation in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine, and strengthening security in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov,” the report says.

The interlocutors emphasized the importance of further cooperation in order to effectively counter Russia’s attempts to spread misinformation of anti-Ukrainian content, jeopardizing the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
