Yermak, Kuleba to visit Berlin to consult on Normandy and Minsk formats

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak intend to visit Berlin in the coming weeks to hold consultations on ways to improve the efficiency of Normandy and Minsk negotiation formats.

Yermak said this at an online meeting with the ambassadors of the G7 countries and the head of the EU Delegation to Ukraine on May 16, the president’s press service reported.

"The head of the President's Office has stated that in the coming weeks, together with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, he will visit Berlin, where consultations on ways to improve the efficiency of the Normandy and Minsk negotiation formats will continue," the statement reads.

Yermak also told the ambassadors about the meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group on the Peaceful Settlement of the Situation in Donetsk and Luhansk Regions, which took place the day before with the participation of an updated Ukrainian delegation. He noted that the Ukrainian delegation included the vice prime minister, deputy ministers, as well as chairmen of the Verkhovna Rada committees, which demonstrates Ukraine’s desire to intensify and make work more efficient in the Minsk process.
