Prystaiko: Ukraine’s course towards NATO membership unchanged

Ukraine’s course towards NATO membership remains unchanged, and the Government continues the reforms in security and defence sector despite spread of coronavirus.

“Ukraine’s course towards NATO membership remains unchanged. Despite COVID-19, the Government continues the reforms in security and defence sector. I was glad to discuss our broad agenda with NATO Ambassadors, and NATO Heads of Mission in Ukraine during the 1st virtual meeting,” Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Vadym Prystaiko posted on Twitter.

The official also informed Ukraine’s partners that the country is willing to contribute further to global efforts in combating COVID-19. “Also we would like to join the international efforts in developing universal anti-pandemic protocols for civil, military and economic sectors,” the Vice PM underscored.
