Zelensky fires heads of ten district administrations and appoints six new leaders

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has dismissed heads of ten district state administrations and appointed new leaders of six district state administrations.

The relevant decrees have been published on the president’s website.

In particular, the president dismissed heads of seven district state administrations in Sumy region. The head of state also removed from the post chairmen of three district state administrations in Vinnytsia, Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions.

As noted, they were dismissed from their posts "due to the expiration of the term of office of the President of Ukraine."

At the same time, Zelensky appointed heads of two district state administrations in Zaporizhzhia region, two more in Kharkiv region, and one each in Vinnytsia and Mykolaiv regions.
