Government appoints new deputy finance minister

The Cabinet of Ministers has appointed Oleh Melnyk as deputy finance minister, according to the ministry’s press service.

“On March 18, 2020, on a motion by Finance Minister Ihor Umansky, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed Oleh Melnyk as deputy finance minister,” reads the statement.

In particular, the newly appointed deputy finance minister will coordinate the financing of the defense sector, law enforcement agencies, national security, production industry, fuel and energy complex, and property relations.
