On Wednesday, March 18, another 40 flights will return Ukrainians to their homeland.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said this in a video address on Tuesday, published on the head of state’s page on Facebook.

“Yesterday, 125 flights returned home 23,000 Ukrainians. Today - 50 flights and 10,000 Ukrainians. Another 40 flights are scheduled for tomorrow,” Zelensky said on March 17.

According to him, our citizens arrive at the airports of Kyiv, Dnipro, Odesa, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv and Lviv. "Aircrafts from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Egypt, Israel, Spain, Qatar, Moldova, the United Arab Emirates, Thailand, Turkey have already returned," the president added.

Zelensky also asked compatriots who plan to return to Ukraine by their own car or bus to read carefully the restrictions in the countries through which their route will run and the mode of operation of checkpoints on the state border of Ukraine.
