Zelensky says he working on holding detainee exchange in March and Normandy format meeting in late April

President Volodymyr Zelensky says that work is underway to hold an exchange of detainees in March and meetings in the Normandy format in late April.

He stated this at a meeting with local residents and media representatives during his working trip to Poltava region on Friday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"We are working on holding a detainee exchange in March. We are working to ensure that we will have a meeting [in the Normandy format] at the end of April. I think that all this will happen, we are seriously working on it," the president said in response to the question of when the exchange and a Normandy format meeting will be held.

At the same time, he recalled that a meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group will be held in Minsk on March 11.

As reported, on March 5, President Volodymyr Zelensky said in an interview with Turkish TV channel TRT that the Ukrainian side in the Trilateral Contact Group had submitted a list of more than 200 people to be released during the next prisoner swap.
