Donbas and investments: New head of President’s Office outlines priorities

Newly appointed Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak will not abandon the areas he was in charge of at the position of aide to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

The priority will be to end the war in Donbas in the interests of Ukraine, he said at a briefing on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“First, I want to tell you that I will not abandon the areas I have been in charge of lately. Of course, ending the war in Donbas in the interests of Ukraine is and will always be one of the priorities for the President of Ukraine and for the Office of the President. Therefore, this direction remains a priority,” Yermak said.

He added that foreign policy remained in the focus of his attention.

“I believe that today Ukraine is in the world’s spotlight and we cannot miss this chance. We need to do everything possible so that the attention and the interest that we have and feel today during the international visits of the President of Ukraine do not cease and give us concrete results,” the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine noted.

Other important areas of the Office’s activity will be conducting regional policy and attracting investment in Ukraine.

On Tuesday, February 11, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed Andriy Bohdan from the post of the Office of the President of Ukraine and appointed Andriy Yermak to this post.
