Cuba’s new ambassador begins diplomatic mission in Ukraine

Ukraine's Deputy Foreign Minister Serhiy Kyslytsia has received copies of credentials from the newly appointed ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to Ukraine, Natacha Díaz Aguilera, the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reports on Facebook.

"The deputy minister congratulated the ambassador of Cuba on her appointment. The parties noted mutual readiness for an active bilateral dialogue and bilateral consultations in the political, trade, economic and other sectors," the statement reads.

In addition, Kyslytsia expressed hope for a change in Cuba’s position on the issue of supporting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.
