FM Prystaiko outlines Ukraine’s main priorities for Normandy summit

Foreign Minister of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko has outlined Ukraine’s key positions for today’s Normandy Format summit.

In a post on Twitter, Prystaiko wrote: “A complete and permanent ceasefire, our control over the border of a single indivisible state, disarmament and withdrawal of illegal armed groups, local elections in line with our legislation are the main elements of our position”.

At the same time, the foreign minister has added that it does not matter in what format these issues will be resolved: during joint talks or face-to-face meetings.

The leaders of Normandy Four countries - Ukraine, Russia, France and Germany - will meet in Paris today, December 9.
