Ukraine and Argentina extend visa-free stay of citizens - 180 days instead of 90

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko has signed a protocol between the Governments of Ukraine and the Argentine Republic on amending the agreement on the abolition of visas to extend the visa-free stay of citizens of both countries to 90 days during six months.

He said this during a meeting with Ambassador of the Argentine Republic to Ukraine Elena L.T. Mikusinski on November 21, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine reported.

"The Protocol on Amendments to the Agreement between the Government of Ukraine and the Government of the Argentine Republic on Visa Waiver was signed. It provides for a twofold increase in the visa-free stay of citizens of Ukraine and Argentina (from 90 days during the year to 90 days during 180 days)," the report says.

During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues on the agenda of Ukrainian-Argentine relations, stressing the importance of enhancing political dialogue at the high and the highest levels, as well as effective interaction in international organizations.
