PM Honcharuk announces creation of European integration offices in regions

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine intends to create European integration offices in the regions.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk said this at a briefing following a government meeting on Wednesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"We plan that each regional center of our country will have a small space, which will bring European standards closer to people, and explain, show, give advice. That is, it will be an island to spread European integration to the regions," he said.

According to the prime minister, a decision has already been made to create such a pilot project in Kherson region.

In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers, at its first European integration meeting, opened to the public an access to the Pulse of the Agreement - an online system for the monitoring of the progress in the implementation of the Action Plan on Implementation of the Association Agreement with the EU.
