Ukrainian foreign minister, Chinese ambassador discuss investments, mutual travels of citizens

Foreign Minister of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko and Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Ukraine Du Wei held a meeting on November 11, the Foreign Ministry’s press service reported.

“The parties stressed the need for renewing the dynamics of a political dialogue between the two countries so that to enhance practical cooperation, especially in trade, economic and investment spheres,” reads the report.

Minister Prystaiko has said he hopes that active and efficient work of joint bilateral mechanisms will become a powerful tool for diversification and increase of bilateral goods turnover.

He has also said that favorable conditions should be created to boost the mutual travels of citizens of the two countries as well as to further develop cultural and humanitarian ties.

In addition, Minister Prystaiko has stressed that Ukraine’s foreign policy on developing friendly relations and mutually beneficial cooperation with the People's Republic of China remains unchanged.
