Zelensky receives credentials from ambassadors of four countries

President Volodymyr Zelensky received credentials from the ambassadors of Sweden, Switzerland, Georgia and Mexico, the president’s press service reported on Thursday evening.

In particular, Zelensky congratulated Tobias Tiberg on the beginning of his mission to Ukraine as Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden. The Ukrainian President thanked the Swedish Ambassador for the Sweden firm support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and stressed the importance of maintaining positive dynamics achieved in bilateral trade.

At a meeting with Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to Ukraine Claude Wild, Zelensky stressed the priority of developing the bilateral cooperation in trade, economic and investment spheres. The Ukrainian President thanked for the support and assistance provided by Switzerland to Ukraine and welcomed the readiness of the Swiss side to host the International Conference on Reforms in Ukraine in 2021.

Also, the Ukrainian President has renewed the invitation to the president of Switzerland to visit Ukraine.

“During his conversation with Ambassador of Georgia to Ukraine Teimuraz Sharashenidze, the President noted the strategic nature of Ukrainian-Georgian relations. The importance of continuing constructive cooperation within international organizations and coordinating joint efforts on the path to European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine and Georgia was stressed,” reads the report.

During a meeting with Ambassador of the United Mexican States to Ukraine Olga Beatriz García Guillén, the Ukrainian President discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation between the countries, measures to enhance political dialogue, cooperation within international organizations, development of cooperation in trade, economic and other spheres.
