Ukrainian foreign minister invites OSCE Chairperson-in-Office to visit Stanytsia Luhanska

Foreign Minister of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko expresses his hope for OSCE’s active assistance in countering Russian aggression.

This was discussed during a meeting of Foreign Minister of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko with Foreign Minister of Slovakia and incumbent OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Miroslav Lajčák, the Mission of Ukraine to the European Union reports.

 “A constructive dialogue with Slovak Foreign Minister, OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Miroslav Lajčák. The conversation focuses on the peace in eastern Ukraine and strengthening the activities of the Trilateral Contact Group. We look forward to the OSCE's active role and assistance in counteracting the aggressor,” Prystaiko said.

The minister noted that he had invited his Slovak counterpart, as incumbent OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, to visit the village of Stanytsia Luhanska together to view the infrastructure restoration works.

On Monday, Foreign Minister of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko makes working visits to Luxembourg and Brussels.

The minister will attend the EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting in Luxembourg and a meeting of the European Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs in Brussels.
