Czech PM to visit Ukraine in November

On October 13, Czech President Milos Zeman met with Prime Minister Andrej Babis at the residence of the President of the Czech Republic in Lany.

Foreign policy advisers from the president's team also took part in the meeting, Radio Liberty reports.

Ukraine was among the talking points, the head of the Czech government told reporters later.

"We were talking about Ukraine. On November 18, based on the negotiations with President Zelensky, I and Havlicek [Karel Havlicek is the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic] fly to Ukraine on an economic mission. Ukraine, of course, is very important for us," the Czech PM stressed.

Earlier, Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis invited President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to Prague.

"I invited Mr. President to Prague so that he could meet with the prime ministers of the Visegrad Four," Babis tweeted after his meeting with Zelensky in New York.
