Speaker signs law cancelling list of objects that are not subject to privatization

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Razumkov signed the law cancelling the list of objects that are not subject to privatization and sent the document for president´s signature.

The relevant report has been posted on the parliament´s website.

As Ukrinform reported, the Verkhovna Rada last week adopted the law that cancels the list of objects that are not subject to privatization. However, the law on privatization of state and municipal property envisages criteria determining that objects that are not subject to privatization are roads, gas transportation systems, subways, etc. This means that strategic infrastructure will not be privatized.

In addition, the document proposes amendments to the law of Ukraine on privatization of state and municipal property on determining the criteria for objects that are not subject to privatization. In particular, the state property objects located in the temporarily occupied territories are not subject to privatization until the full restoration of Ukraine´s constitutional order in these territories.
