FM Prystaiko: Zelensky to pay official visit to Latvia soon

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will pay an official visit to the Republic of Latvia in the near future.

Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko stated this during a joint press conference with Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics, an Ukrinform correspondent reported

"We are planning a visit of the President of Ukraine to Riga soon, I think it will take place next week," he said.

According to him, today’s meeting of the foreign ministers is dedicated, in particular, to the discussion of a meeting of the Ukrainian and Latvian presidents.

"There are many issues of bilateral cooperation, the EU and PACE cooperation etc.," Prystaiko added.

As Ukrinform reported, Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics is on an official visit to Ukraine on October 7-8.
