President appoints Aivaras Abromavicius as Director General of Ukroboronprom

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed Director General of the State Concern “Ukroboronprom” Pavlo Bukin and appointed Aivaras Abromavicius to this post.

The relevant decrees are published on the website of the Head of State.

“To appoint Aivaras Abromavicius to the position of the Director General of the State Concern ‘Ukroboronprom’,” reads the presidential decree No. 641/2019.

Previously, the President dismissed Pavlo Bukin from the position of the Director General of the State Concern “Ukroboronprom” by the presidential decree No. 640/2019.

In addition, in accordance with the presidential decree No. 639/2019, Abromavicius' term of office as a member of the Supervisory Board of Ukroboronprom was terminated.

The State Concern “Ukroboronprom” is an association of multi-product enterprises in various sectors of the defense industry of Ukraine. The State Concern “Ukroboronprom” unites more than 100 enterprises-participants in five major defence industry sectors, particularly in armament and military equipment development and manufacture, scientific research and export-import operations. It deepens cooperation with Ukrainian enterprises, strengthening internal cooperation of domestic manufacturers, and expands the range of foreign partners.
