President appoints new head of Ivano-Frankivsk RSA

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Denys Shmyhal as the new head of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration.

The head of state announced this during his working visit to Ivano-Frankivsk region on Friday, August 2, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“I’d like to appoint Denys Shmyhal the chairman of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration,” Zelensky said and handed him a certificate.

As reported, President Zelensky on June 11 dismissed Oleh Honcharuk from the post of chairman of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration.
