Zelensky already has candidate for prime minister

The prime minister of Ukraine must be a professional economist bearing no relation to politics.

"To be honest, the people, who are now in the parliament and see themselves at the position of the prime minister, won’t be happy about what I’m going to say. I have an unwavering stance on this issue. I believe that the prime minister must be a professional economist and have no political decision. This must be a completely independent person who has never been a prime minister, a speaker or a party leader," President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said after he had voted in snap parliamentary elections at a polling station in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

According to Zelensky, he already has a candidate and holds the consultations within the limits of his powers.

On July 21, the snap parliamentary elections are held in Ukraine.
