Committee recommends Verkhovna Rada to dismiss Klimkin, appoint Prystaiko instead

The parliamentary committee on foreign affairs has approved draft resolutions on the dismissal of Pavlo Klimkin from the post of minister of foreign affairs and appointment of Vadym Prystaiko instead.

The relevant decision was approved at a committee´s meeting on July 11, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

Thus, the committee recommended that the parliament consider these staff issues during the parliamentary session.

As Ukrinform reported, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky called on the Verkhovna Rada to immediately consider a motion on the dismissal of Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin and the appointment of Vadym Prystaiko to replace him. The president filed the relevant motions for parliament´s consideration on June 11.
