During the state visit to France on June 17, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with French Senate President Gérard Larcher.

"The French official underscored the support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine. The parties also discussed the return of captured Ukrainian sailors and political prisoners, who are currently held in Russia, to their homeland," the press service of the Head of State reports.

In addition, Zelensky and Larcher touched upon the progress in implementation of the Minsk agreements and holding a meeting in the Normandy format in the near future.

The President of Ukraine and the President of the French Senate also discussed the issues of investment, humanitarian restoration of Donbas and the possibility of establishing a "dialogue commission" with the participation of parliamentarians from both countries for the elaboration of international projects.
