Security in Black Sea region requires NATO's additional efforts – Zelensky

Stability and security in the Black Sea region require additional efforts of NATO due to the ongoing Russian aggression.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said during a joint press conference with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg in Brussels on Tuesday evening, the press service of the head of state reported.

"Russia's ongoing armed aggression remains a major challenge for Euro-Atlantic security. Stability and security in the Black Sea is our key task, which requires additional efforts of the Alliance," Zelensky stressed.

The president praised the decision of the allies to enhance security in the Black Sea region and help strengthen the capabilities of the Naval Forces of Ukraine.

"We hope to resume our regular dialogue in the framework of the Ukraine-NATO Commission at the level of heads of state and government, as well as ministers of defense and foreign affairs," Zelensky said.
