Groysman ready to head Cabinet of Ministers after parliamentary elections

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman is ready to head again the Cabinet of Ministers after the parliamentary elections.

“I know what should be done next and I can head the government. If the Ukrainian people decide that I and the team we form are worthy of representing their interests and performing the tasks that people set for us, I will be ready to head the government,” Groysman said in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.

It is important to form a strong and united coalition after the elections, he stressed.

“The effectiveness of a government depends on the extent to which it can rely on the parliamentary majority,” the Prime Minister explained.

As reported, Groysman stated earlier that he was ready to cooperate with president-elect Volodymyr Zelensky after the inauguration, as well as with other branches of power, for the sake of the country's development, noting there should be no ideological differences.
