Groysman: Government to ensure stability and protection of Ukraine's interests

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman assures that the Government will ensure stability and protection of Ukraine's interests.

"The presidential election campaign is over, and the parliamentary elections are ahead. The Government of Ukraine faces the task to ensure stability, development, and adoption of necessary decisions... Our Government and I, as the Prime Minister, will ensure stability in the country, adoption of decisions needed for the development of the country and protection of its interests. We will do everything to meet the requirements of the Ukrainian society," Groysman said at the Cabinet’s meeting on April 24, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

The society demands faster changes, and there are a number of important tasks the Government must solve to implement these changes, he noted.

"Among other things, we are implementing a successful decentralization reform, and we need to protect it, to start the constitutional process within the framework of decentralization," Groysman said.

Moreover, according to him, the changes in the judicial system, the continuation of economic growth and protection of Ukrainian business are needed. The concerted efforts of the government, the parliament, and the president are essential for accomplishing these tasks, the Head of Government underscored.

"I believe that these concerted efforts should be underpinned by the idea of a strong and developed Ukraine," Groysman said.
