Groysman: State guarantees support for project on drinking water supply in Mariupol

Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman has assured that the government guarantees support in implementing the project on drinking water supply in the city of Mariupol.

The prime minister stated this in Mariupol, when visiting the filtration station of the Starokrymske water reservoir, the Mariupol City Council reported.

"We have supported this project. The agreement has been signed. There will be state guarantees. Of course, its implementation will take several years. But you need to build, first of all, for people. Residents of Mariupol should drink clean water, we must ensure this,” Groysman said.

The Mariupol City Council reminded that the government of Ukraine and France in January 2019 signed an agreement on the official support of the project on drinking water supply in Mariupol. The document provides for the government of France to allocate EUR 64 million to support the investment project on drinking water in the city of Mariupol with the participation of the Mariupol City Council.
