Naftogaz supervisory board in April must submit its activity report - Groysman

The Supervisory Board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine must submit its activity report by the end of April.

Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman stated this during an hour of questions to the government in the Verkhovna Rada, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

"In fact, NJSC is a monopolist, and I have a tough stance toward this monopoly. NJSC should not only pursue super profit, but also perform other important public functions. According to the law on joint stock companies, supervisory boards must submit reports in April. All materials will be analyzed by the government to make appropriate decisions," said Groysman.

As reported, in March 2019, the government approved a new charter of Naftogaz, authorizing shareholders to elect and dismiss the chairperson and members of the board without proposals of the supervisory board.
