Poroshenko: SBU has become effective mechanism for protecting security of state

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has congratulated the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) on its 27th anniversary.

President Poroshenko wrote the greeting text on his Facebook page.

"The muscles, the SBU has built in the past five years, strike fear into the minds of enemies and give confidence to the Ukrainian society. The SBU has become an effective mechanism for protecting the security of the state and its citizens," Poroshenko wrote.

President Poroshenko thanked the staff of the Security Service for the devotional service to Ukraine.
