Zubko: 11 territorial communities to be created in Luhansk region after de-occupation

Eleven united territorial communities will be created in Luhansk region on the next day after the liberation from Russian occupation.

Deputy Prime Minister - Minister for Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities Hennadiy Zubko said this while commenting on the Government’s approval of the decree "On amendments to the long-term plan for the formation of territorial communities in Luhansk region," the Government portal reported.

"Luhansk region received the necessary tool for active development which will be put into practice on the next day after the liberation from the Russian occupation... So, there will be Alchevsk, Antratsytivsky, Dovzhansk, Zymohiryivsk, Kadiivka, Luhansk, Lutuhyne, Molodohvardiysk, Rovenky, Sorokyne and Khrustalne territorial communities on the map of Ukraine," he stressed.

Zubko noted that "we must demonstrate to citizens who live in the occupied territory of Luhansk region and are temporary hostages of Russian aggression, how the concept of reforming local self-government will be implemented in their region."
