Cabinet approves bill ratifying agreement with France on drinking water supply in Mariupol

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved a bill on the ratification of a framework agreement between the governments of Ukraine and France on the official support of the project on drinking water supply in Mariupol.

The relevant decision as approved at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Wednesday, March 13, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

It is noted that the document will be soon submitted to the Verkhovna Rada for consideration.

The relevant framework agreement between the governments of Ukraine and France was signed on January 29, 2019.

The agreement provides for the government of France to allocate EUR 64 million to support the investment project on drinking water in the city of Mariupol with the participation of the Mariupol City Council. This project corresponds to the priorities of the government of Ukraine and the needs of population affected as a result of the conflict in Donbas.
