Dzheppar, Mayr-Harting discuss situation in Crimea

First Deputy Information Policy Minister of Ukraine Emine Dzheppar and Managing Director for Europe and Central Asia in the European External Action Service Mr. Thomas Mayr-Harting discussed the current situation in Crimea.

"The agenda included Crimea and the next steps (I will not announce what exactly has been said for security reasons). The positions of the EU and all services remain unchanged. The EU will never recognize the occupation of Crimea. The EU continues the policy of sanctions against the Russian Federation," Dzheppar wrote on Facebook.

According to her, the EU’s declarations, statements and resolutions at various levels are a preventive tool and a form of avoiding more repression in the occupied Crimea.
