Suprun interrupts business trip, returning to Kyiv

Ulana Suprun, who was suspended as acting health minister on February 5, is returning to Ukraine from a business trip to the United States, the Ukrainian Health Ministry's press service has told Ukrinform.

"Today Ulana Suprun is returning to Ukraine from her scheduled business trip to the United States," a ministry spokesperson said.

At the same time, Suprun wrote on Facebook that the trip had been canceled in connection with the decision by Judge Serhiy Karakashyan.

"Today I am returning to Ukraine from a business trip to the United States, which was canceled in connection with the decision by Judge Karakashyan. We must resume the work of the ministry in the shortest possible time," she wrote.

As was reported earlier, Kyiv's District Administrative Court partially satisfied an application by Radical Party MP Ihor Mosiychuk and banned Doctor Ulana Suprun from taking any actions aimed at fulfilling the powers of the health minister.
