New ambassador of Japan starts diplomatic mission in Ukraine

Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya received copies of credentials presented by newly appointed Ambassador of Japan to Ukraine Takashi Kurai.

"On January 30, 2019, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya accepted copies of credentials of the newly appointed ambassador of Japan to Ukraine, Takashi Kurai," the press service of the Foreign Ministry reported.

The deputy foreign minister congratulated the new head of the Embassy of Japan on the beginning of his diplomatic mission in Ukraine.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation between the two countries, measures to enhance political dialogue, interactions within international organizations, and development of collaboration in trade and economic, cultural, humanitarian and other spheres of mutual interest.
