Ukrainian, Danish, Czech foreign ministers visit Mariupol port

Foreign ministers of Ukraine, Denmark and the Czech Republic together with representatives of the EU mission discussed with the leadership of the port of Mariupol Russia’s blocking of Ukrainian ships.

Spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine Kateryna Zelenko informed this on Twitter.

"An important meeting of Foreign Ministers Pavlo Klimkin of Ukraine, Anders Samuelsen of Denmark and Tomas Petricek of the Czech Republic and representatives of the EU mission with the leadership of the port of Mariupol. They discussed the issue of Russia’s blocking of Ukrainian ships and the prospects for providing assistance to the Azov Sea region," Zelenko wrote.

As reported, the Ukrainian, Danish, Czech foreign ministers made a joint working trip to Mariupol on January 29 in order to obtain update information on security, humanitarian and economic situation in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area caused by the Russian military blockade of the Ukrainian seaports in the Sea of Azov and the ongoing military aggression of Russia against Ukraine.
