Opposition Bloc nominates Vilkul for president

The Opposition Bloc held a congress in Zaporizhia on Sunday and adopted a program titled "Four Steps to Success."

According to an Ukrinform correspondent, the forum was attended by both chairmen – Oleksandr Vilkul and Borys Kolesnikov.

Some 5,000 participants in the congress adopted the program "Four Steps to Success." The first point or "step" envisages the fight against the current government and all those who support it in any form. In the fourth "step to success," the delegates supported Vilkul as a candidate for the post of Ukraine's president.

Facebook users who made comments during a live broadcast of the event included a lot of Russians – from Volgograd, Kazan, Sakhalin. They enthusiastically supported Vilkul in his quest to "make peace" with Russia. There were also many likes from residents of the occupied part of Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine.
