Ukrainian, Lithuanian foreign ministers discuss topical issues of bilateral cooperation

On January 10, 2019, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin held a meeting with Lithuanian Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius during his working visit to Lithuania.

The ministers discussed a number of topical issues of bilateral cooperation, as well as in the context of coordinating joint political and diplomatic efforts to counter Russia’s ongoing aggression against Ukraine.

The parties stressed the need to preserve the unity by the Euro-Atlantic community in the issue of increasing the sanctions pressure on Russia as an aggressor country.

In Trakai, Linkevičius met with a delegation of Ukrainian children who presented the "Book of Kindness" project.

On January 10-11, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin pays a working visit to the Republic of Lithuania. The purpose of the visit is to participate in the annual discussion club Snow Meeting that is a platform to discuss topical issues related to current challenges to the European and world security.
