Government approves staff changes at Education Ministry

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the appointment of first deputy and deputy education and science ministers.  

The relevant documents have been posted on the Government portal's website.

According to the document, Pavlo Khobzey was appointed as first deputy education and science minister. He previously held the post of deputy minister responsible for the issues of general secondary education.

According to another document, Svitlana Danylenko was appointed as deputy education and science minister. She previously served as director of the economics and finance department.

As Ukrinform reported, the government increased the number of deputy education and science ministers to six. According to Education and Science Minister Lilia Hrynevych, the new deputy minister will be responsible for "the financial component of educational policy".
