Poroshenko: 874 united territorial communities created in Ukraine

A total of 874 united territorial communities have been created in Ukraine.

President Petro Poroshenko stated this when speaking at the forum dedicated to the issues of local self-government and united territorial communities, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"According to the latest data, there are 874 united territorial communities, 665 of them have received an increased share of the revenue part and switched to direct inter-budget relations with the state budget," he said.

In addition, Poroshenko noted that local budgets grew 3.4 times in the past four years, and this year the share of local budgets in the consolidated budget makes up 52%.
