Groysman: Ukraine should transfer to mid-term development planning

Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has said that Ukraine should transfer to the medium-term planning of its development.

He stated this during the forum "Partnership for Development," which gathered representatives of key organizations and governments of partner countries of Ukraine, the Government portal reports.

"Reforms must be consistent and systematic. Thus, we plan to approve the decision on medium-term planning, which will not be limited to one year," said Groysman.

At the same time, he assured that the reforms launched by the government in the most important spheres of life will be continued in 2019.

Groysman stressed that Ukraine is currently facing challenges, first of all, because of the Russian aggression and large debt burden. But the continuation of reforms is a strategic goal of the government and the adoption of the state budget for 2019 was a major step in this direction, the prime minister said.
