U.S. to call UN Security Council meeting over Russian aggression against Ukraine

An emergency meeting of the UN Security Council on the situation in the Black and Azov Seas due to Russian aggression against Ukraine will take place on Monday, November 26.

U.S. Permanent Representative to the United Nations Nikki Haley wrote this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

"An emergency Security Council meeting has been called for tomorrow at 11:00 am," she said.

Given the difference in time, the meeting is scheduled to take place at 18.00 Kyiv time on Monday.

At the same time, for official confirmation of the time and agenda of the meeting, according to the procedure, the country presiding at the UN Security Council (China) should make an official statement.

Ukraine's Mission to the UN on Sunday called on the UN Security Council president to convene an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council due to Russia's aggressive actions in the Black and Azov Seas.
