Groysman expects VR to approve draft state budget at second reading next week

Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman expects that the Verkhovna Rada will approve the draft state budget for 2019 at second reading next week.

He stated this during a meeting dedicated to the issues of healthcare reform, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

“It is very important that the draft state budget for 2019 be timely approved by the Ukrainian parliament. We developed this budget, we took a decision to send it to the parliament this week, maybe, even today. This means that there are all opportunities for this budget be approved next week,” Groysman said.

As reported, the Verkhovna Rada passed the bill on the state budget for 2019 at first reading on October 18.

On November 14, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the draft state budget for its consideration by the Verkhovna Rada at second reading.
