Groysman: Ukrainians will see first results of reforms in 2019

Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has said that next year Ukrainians will see first results of reforms being carried out in the state.

"In 2019, we will have first achievements of healthcare reform, we will have first achievement of education reform, and we will build more Ukrainian roads, almost twice as many as in 2018. We will be able to raise social standards. We will be able to move forward, implementing new opportunities for our energy independence," Groysman said at the seventh meeting of the Regional Development Council, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

According to Groysman, Ukraine has all possibilities to increase gas production volumes so that to become an energy independent country.

The prime minister also stressed that the key challenge for Ukraine’s stability in 2019 is populism, the irresponsible rhetoric of some politicians. Therefore, the government should focus on reforms, Groysman stressed.
