Militants launched 14 attacks on Ukrainian troops in Donbas in last day

Russian-backed militants launched 14 attacks, using weapons banned under the Minsk agreements four times, on positions of Ukrainian troops in the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) area in Donbas in last day.

“Over the past day, the enemy shelled Ukrainian positions outside Krymske (42.5km north-west of Luhansk), Novoluhanske (53km north-east of Donetsk), Pisky (12km north-west of Donetsk), Opytne (11.5km north-west of Donetsk), Marinka (35 km south-west of Donetsk), Slavne (25km south-west of Donetsk), Krasnohorivka (29 km west of Donetsk), Starohnativka (52km south of Donetsk), Chermalyk (31km north-east of Mariupol), Pavlopol (30 km northeast of Mariupol) and Lebedynske (16km north-east of Mariupol),” the JFO Headquarters press center reports.

The terrorists also fired grenade launchers of different systems, heavy machine guns and small arms. The enemy used 82mm mortars to shell Ukrainian troops near Pavlopol and Krymske, 120mm mortars - outside Novoluhanske.

Two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in last day.
