Groysman: Unbalanced state budget may cause new crisis

Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has said that unrealistic and unbalanced state budget for 2019 may cause a crisis in the country.

He stated this at a government meeting on Wednesday, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

“We need stability very much. The adoption of the budget by the Ukrainian parliament before December 1 is an important element of this stability. It should be a very realistic task: expenses and revenues are balanced. Any deviation of expenses from revenues means a new crisis,” Groysman said.

As reported, the Verkhovna Rada approved a draft law on the state budget for 2019 at first reading on October 18.
