Ukraine, Poland committed to partnership in countering external threats

Ukraine and Poland are committed to the most effective partnership in security and defense issues.

The press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported this following a meeting of Foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin with Head of the National Security Bureau of Poland Pawel Soloch, who was on a visit to Kyiv.

"During the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation in the energy sector, information and cyber security, the implementation of Ukraine’s European and Euro-Atlantic course, as well as the situation in Donbas as a result of the Russian aggression against Ukraine," the report says.

Poland reaffirmed its unchanged position regarding the strategic interests of Ukraine. The sides also expressed mutual interest in effective partnership in order to counter external threats.
