Ukraine, Poland determined to deepen bilateral cooperation

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin has briefed his Polish counterpart Jacek Czaputowicz on the vision of the Ukrainian side of the current state of Ukrainian-Polish relations.

The ministers met on the margins of the 73rd session of the UN General Assembly in New York on September 26, 2018.

Both states have similar positions on the overwhelming majority of issues on the international agenda and work closely with international organizations, including the UN, Klimkin emphasized.

The parties discussed possible mutual steps and initiatives to deepen bilateral relations, including a dialogue on common history.

The ministers also agreed to continue maintain active bilateral contacts in order to develop mutually beneficial cooperation.
