Visa-free regime for Ukraine created no problems for Europe - Poroshenko

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko has said that Ukrainians have not created any problems for Europe over the first year of the visa-free regime between Ukraine and the European Union.

He said this at a ceremony to hand over a ten-millionth biometric passport to a Ukrainian citizen, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Europe has accepted Ukrainian [biometric] passports for over a year, and we have not created any problems for our European Union partners, as we promised," Poroshenko said.

As reported, the visa-free regime between Ukraine and the European Union was introduced on June 11, 2017.
