Chubarov: Russia violates all ten principles of OSCE

Chairman of the Mejlis of Crimean Tatar people Refat Chubarov says Russia has violated all ten Helsinki principles of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.

"Chubarov at the OSCE meeting in Warsaw: since February 2014, having occupied Crimea and launched armed aggression against Ukraine, Russia has violated all ten Helsinki principles of the OSCE, the norms of international law, the Budapest Memorandum and all international obligations," the Embassy of Ukraine in Poland posted on Twitter.

The embassy noted that the Mejlis chairman called on OSCE "to unite efforts to stop Russian aggression."

"Chubarov in Warsaw: the persecution of Crimean Tatars and Ukrainians in Crimea by the Russian occupying power is the crime motivated by hatred and intolerance. We call on the OSCE countries to unite efforts to stop Russian aggression against Ukraine and liberate the occupied territories," the Ukrainian embassy in Poland reported.
