Moldova's prime minister invites Ukrainian colleague to Chisinau to discuss bilateral relations

Prime Minister of the Republic of Moldova Pavel Filip has invited Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman to visit Chisinau to discuss bilateral relations and prospects for their deepening.

The press service of the Government of Moldova informed this following a telephone conversation between the prime ministers of the two countries, Ukrinform's correspondent in Moldova reported.

"The premiers of Moldova and Ukraine exchanged views on positive dynamics of bilateral relations between Moldova and Ukraine, confirming readiness of the parties to strengthen the partnership," the report reads.

The head of the Moldovan Government invited Groysman to visit Chisinau in order to discuss in detail the topical issues of bilateral relations.

In turn, the Ukrainian prime minister wrote on Facebook that he had discussed with his Moldovan counterpart "the priority issues of our cooperation, as well as the preparation for the second summit of prime ministers of the member countries of GUAM [Organization for Democracy and Economic Development]."

Groysman visited Moldova in October 2017. During the visit, the Roadmap for Economic Cooperation for 2018 was signed.
